What this covers

This policy covers the game and the pages on needleinahaystack.online.

The round in your browser

The round you are playing is stored in this browser's local storage. It is not uploaded as a cloud save. There is no account. A different device, or clearing this site's data, removes the round. When the game changes, the save format can change too, and an older round may no longer load.

Feedback you choose to send

If you submit feedback from the home page and the form accepts it, we store:

• the message
• the email, if you typed one
• the page language, en or zh
• the browser's user-agent string, shortened to 300 characters

We use that to read the note and, when you left an email, to reply. If the feedback store is not configured, the form fails and nothing is saved.

Visit counts

Each of these pages loads https://app.pageview.app/js/script.js with the site set to needleinahaystack.online. On a page view, that script sends the page address, the site domain, and the referring address to pageview.app. The script itself does not read or write a cookie. The game frame does not load a second copy.

These pages also load Google Analytics, measurement ID G-H8HCN9WVZY, from https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js. Google may set a cookie and receive the page address and browser information.

Ads

These pages load Google AdSense from https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js for publisher ca-pub-9749420956671599. Google may use a cookie to choose and measure ads. The game frame does not load a second copy.
